WestJet is offering a 10% discount off their best available regular fare to conference delegates on connector flights to our gateway cities: Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver from which delegates can connect with an Air North Flight to Whitehorse.

To access the conference discount the following ‘promo code’ is required: QC6052.

Air Canada is offering a 10% discount on Executive Class J, Executive Class C, Latitude and Tango Plus fares and all other fares: J, C, Y, M, U, B, H, V within Canada. Discounts are available for travel on September 21 – 30, 2009 only.

First Air is offering a 30% discount off their lowest published “Q” fare + applicable taxes and surcharges. Discounts are based on return travel only - between September 21 – September 30, 2009.

Tickets are fully refundable up to 2 hours prior to departure, after which a travel voucher will be given.  Name changes are permitted.

Canadian North does not fly directly to Whitehorse but has offered a 20% discount for connector flights from the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Edmonton.  This discount applies to return flights only.

All conference accommodation facilities offer Airport shuttle service.  The procedure for each is different.  Please be sure to ask about this service when you make your accommodation reservation.

Transportation While in Whitehorse:

Bus Tranportation to and from conference events will be provided and special arrangements will be made for those with special accessibility needs.
Please be sure to list any special accessibility needs you have in the "special needs" section of the on-line registration form and a planning committee representative will contact you closer to the conference to ensure your needs are met.

Public bus transportation is available for non-conference events as well. For transportation schedules and information on bus accessibility view the Whitehorse Public Transit.

Vehicle Rentals:

Rates include 200 free kms, Weekly rates include 1500 free kms. Additional kms are $0.20 each. Fees, taxes or insurance are extra to rates noted above.
