Recreation Facilities:

Would you like some physical activity while you are in Whitehorse?  We have some great recreation facilities.  Each offers different recreation equipment/services and are located in different areas of the city - please contact your facility of choice prior to the conference to ensure your recreation needs can be met. As well, we have identified the location of the recreation facilities in comparison to the Host Conference Facility on the conference locator map to help you with your selection - click here to download map.

Hiking Trails:

Whether you like to run full out or take a leisurely stroll the Millennium Trail, located close to the Yukon Convention Centre in Downtown Whitehorse, offers a great hiking experience. It winds along the Yukon River and features many popular attractions such as the Historic SS Klondike Sternwheeler, Centennial Bridge, Fish Ladder and the Whitehorse Dam to name a few.  It is popular with locals and visitors alike and is well maintained.  A map of the trail can be downloaded via this link Trail Map
