Pre-Conference Technology Session Added!

Inclusive Technologies across the Curriculum

This day-long, hands-on workshop, will examine technologies for all learners including the LD student, the ADHD student, as well as the student who just struggles. This will be an opportunity for a limited number of participants with different learning styles to try a number of software titles. Participants will discuss how these technologies may be used to maximize learning potential for all students.

Lisa Boone, of Aroga will lead this session. Lisa has had the opportunity to work with numerous schools and families across Canada through Aroga for the past 5 years, in addition to working in a hands-on instructional capacity leading a program involving computer skills instruction and assistive technology for people with disabilities.

Software to be explored includes (all Windows based):

  • Intellitools Classroom Suite v4rite Online

  • Kurzweil 3000

  • WYNN Wizard

  • Read & Write Gold
