Playwright, Charlie Rhindress couldn't have said it better.
MacNeil's songs are about conversations, friends getting
together, community roots, believing in dreams, both good and
bad times, working people, taking risks, home and paying tribute
to a loving family - things that ring true for everybody. Her
music resonates with those of us, parents, family, teachers,
professionals and individuals who have faced the challenges of
learning disabilities and the “gifts” such challenges bring. We
are thrilled that she will grace our stage. A percentage of the
admission fee will support the worthwhile endeavours of the
Learning Disabilities Associations of Canada and Yukon and
promises to be an enjoyable, entertaining and uplifting evening.
